Lincoln has been a very good baby so far. I wondered after the first night though. My Mom was up all night with him. Last night he was great. He woke up to eat 2 times and then went straight to bed. Right after Lincoln came they checked all of his vitals and found that his heart was beating at 290. He looked perfectly normal and there was no sign other then listening to his heart that something was wrong. They checked his heart beat again and it was up to 309. They ran him to the NICU and called the pediatrician to come in. They said on an adult they would use the electric shock thing to shock his heart but you can't do that on a baby. They tried something that was a little different. They took cold ice and put it on his face for about 5 minutes. His heart rate started raising and then all of a sudden it went down to normal. He has had no problems since but now he is on heart monitor for the next 2 weeks. Then we have to take him to a cardiologist on the 31st of July. It has been very frusterating carying this heart monitor around. You can't go more then about 4 feet and then you have to unplug and carry him and the monitor to the next plug and plug him in again.

We hope he keeps doing well. I'm sure that was scary. We are keeping him in our prayers.
